A Summer time-lapse
So, a few weeks ago on a rare, wonderfully sunny summers day I sat on Hampstead Heath with my favourite @StaceyHat clicking a remote control every 30 seconds for 2 and a half hours ... the result ... this lovely time-lapse teasing out a smile on a below average English summer's day.

Website of the Week #004
Responsive web design is slowly becoming an obsession of mine, the seamless device aesthetic and neatness of the mark-up appeals to the perfectionist in me. With the release of matchMedia.js allowing you to use CSS media query syntax with a jQuery condition it's even easier for designers to build exciting, innovative and coherent web presence.
A Digital Designer/Front-end Developer no longer needs a Developer to detect devices and switch mark-up, this can all be done with some fairly straight forward front-end code.
*Check out this new tool by Matt Kersley for testing responsive layouts ... very useful! via @JacobLeeDesign

Here are another couple of websites which epitomise to future of web design heralding the start of the move from building a website to creating a seamless digital presence on-line.
Yoke (thisisyoke.com)
@yokedesign
Bristol based creative agency Yoke have really hit the ground running with their nice shiny web presence, try resizing your browser and watch it adapt... Loving their combination of cutting edge technique combined with traditional illustration epitomising the modern world of digital design.
Food Sense (foodsense.is)
@getfoodsense
Another awesome example is this offering for on-line culinary recourse Food Sense. A much cleaner layout than Yoke incorporating neat little elemental of custom illustration and brand identity. I love their use of space and unintrusive yet effective social media integration, this site really is a joy to behold on any device, never has resizing your browser brought so much joy! Check.it.out!
